Thanks everyone for an awesome promotion party!  It was definitely one for the ages!  Congrats to all the new belts, and especially to our new Paragon black belts:  Anthony Califano, Milton Bastos, Bill Stallworth and Dr. Bernard Weinstock.  We had 185 grapplers in gis for the ceremony and all in all I think there was over 250 people at our Santa Barbara location.  It was by far the largest show of force for our school EVER, and it was humbling to see all our belts out there on the mat together.  Thanks to all the people who came from all over Southern California, from our guys in Hollywood to SLO, Ventura and Westlake. The party at Union Ale was a huge success.  We had that place packed out the doors!  Pictures will be posted on the facebook fan page soon. Guys, there are a lot of tournaments coming up in late summer, and our advanced classes have been empty!  We need to get back together and start training hard!  Stop slackin' and get back in here.  I want to see all our higher belts together, even if you don't plan on competing, get in here and help our guys!  Some of you white belts who have been here longer (one year or more) should be training double in the evening too.  Come to the beginner and stay for the advanced.  If you've been waiting for an invitation, here it is.  SHOW UP MAN.
